Telestra: Stronger than Ever

ASTi's Telestra™ product continues to shine as the system of choice for military training system sound and communications solutions. This year alone, ASTi shipped more than 250 Telestra systems for a variety of training applications and programs, including: P-8A, F/A-18C/D, UH-60R, F-16, T-6, AH-1W, C-130J, UH-60M, F-15, T-50, Eurofighter, CH-53E, CH-47, AH-64D Longbow, UH-1N, A400M, and more.

Success like this doesn't come easy. ASTi's Telestra platform is the result of 25 years of industry experience solving the most demanding and complex communication and sound requirements. And its capabilities continue to grow. Additions this year include enhancements to BOOM Interphone, SATCOM, live radio control, Level D and general sound tuning, specialized radio and equipment modeling (e.g., ARC-231), and support for new hardware.

Enhanced Link-16 communications modeling is now included providing:

• Link-16 voice transmission and reception
• Radio environment effects
• JTIDS terminal simulation (data rate, time slot allocation, stacked/crypto nets, NPG buffer management, priority/status reporting)
• SISO TADIL-TALES DIS standard interoperability
