With the release of the Synapse Voisus Server product, Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2^TM) users can now employ ASTi's full-fidelity radio simulation and communications capabilities within VBS2's interactive, three dimensional training system. Users will gain the enhanced training benefits of a highly realistic simulated radio environment with the introduction of ASTi Radios into VBS2.

To facilitate this technological advancement in VBS2 in-game communications, ASTi integrated it's Voisus^® software-based communications client directly into the VBS2 infrastructure. Voisus clients operate on the customer's computer, offloading heavy radio simulation processes to a central server. Voisus thin client architecture offers crucial benefits: conservation of customer CPU resources, maximized reliability and simplified maintenance through centralized software updates.
